Small-Scale Retailing

A small scale retailing business is normally run as a sole proprietorship or as a partnership. The small amount of capital needed is raised from personal savings, or borrowed from friends and relatives. If the retailer has some collateral security, then he might be able to obtain some money from a bank in the form of a loan or an overdraft. Small retailers obtain a great variety of goods in small quantities from wholesalers. They are not able to go direct to the manufacturers since purchases are made in bulk. The sole proprietor normally serves his customers with the help of some assistants. Therefore, he has the opportunity to get to know his regular consumers well.

In the present day retail market, the large retailers seem to be attracting customers away from many of the trading city- centre shopping areas characterized by the small specialist shops selling the traditional shopping items- textiles, cosmetics, cameras, radios, watches and the like. This is because the large retailers are able to offer very competitive prices and a congenial shopping atmosphere equipped with the necessary facilities for the convenience of the average as well as a wide range of goods to ensure one stop shopping for practically every member of the family. However, despite these factors, the retail market is still characterized by a predominance of the small retailer, especially in the smaller towns as well as the city centre.

How To Keep Your Baby Skin Healthy

Baby
Caring for baby's skin is one thing that should not be forgotten by the mother. This is caused by the baby’s skin still very young and sensitive that are vulnerable of the various diseases and various other disorders. Baby's skin is very smooth but vulnerable to changes in temperature, drought and infection. Because of the sweat glands is not fully developed, the baby's skin is very sensitive to cold and hot temperatures. Although sebaceous glands are formed in the skin, but they are not producing enough oil. As a result, babies are prone to dry skin. Baby's skin is also susceptible to infection because the system of protection to against microorganisms is not fully formed. Therefore, proper care of sensitive baby skin is very important in the first months of life. Here are tips that are highly recommended in baby skin care:

Bathing the baby. In a baby bath, bath water temperature needs to pay attention mainly to the newborn. Should the temperature not too hot or cold. Clean baby's skin from the dirt on the skin such as food waste, urine, and feces with water. Bath twice a day will also help clean the baby's skin. A good soap for baby's skin is a special soap for babies who are not too hard and has a pH between 4.5 - 5 and try a little greasy soap, this is to prevent irritation on baby's skin. Very good if done twice to rinse the chemical cleaning. If there is irritation to the specific brand you should switch to another brand, do not let it drag on. Areas such as between your fingers, armpits, and groin, not to be missed. How to clean baby's genitals of women and men differently. Of female infants, wash genitals from front to back or to the anus by using a cotton swab or a damp washcloth. At a baby boy, pull his hood slowly until tha urine hole appears, then wipe with a damp washcloth or cotton. Finished bathing, use a soft towel for comfort on baby's skin. Use a special moisturizing baby lotion or cream form which serves to maintain or increase the water content present in the skin, particularly the outer skin (epidermis).

Selection of Clothing and Baby Diapers. Choose clothing and diapers made from soft and thin cotton or mixtures thereof. Avoid nylon material that is generally easy to make baby hot and sweaty. This condition will easily invite germs or bacteria that is easy to bring up the rash and itching. If the baby can scratch, even the possibility of infection is greater.

Protect baby from the afternoon sun, if the baby should be dried to obtain additional vitamin D for bone growth, do it under at 09.00 am. Avoid direct exposure to the baby from the afternoon sun, the sun is directly susceptible to skin cancer. How to Enjoy a Budget Holiday in Bali

Bali Indonesia
Bali has been known as an island with beautiful beaches, great culture, delicious dining experience, and wonderful night life. And even more, travelers can enjoy all this in a budget! Bali is one of those places where you can go backpacking and enjoy all the holiday activities with low rates. So if you’re planning to have a holiday in Bali on a budget, here are some things that would definitely reduce the cost of your travel:

Accomodation
You can find cheap and reasonably priced rooms in Bali, even in the most popular areas like Kuta, Seminyak, or Ubud. The facilities usually include simple furniture, private bathroom, and electric fan. You can even have the same type of room with TV and air conditioning with low rates. Most of them even include standard breakfast. In a place with beautiful beaches like Bali, you’d probably prefer enjoying the holiday outside your hotel room. So, a standard room that’s comfortable and clean for sleeping and bathing is probably enough for most people.

Food
Try the local warungs and cafes that serve local food with low rates. Be adventurous and look for places that look busy. Take a peek to see if the place is sanitary enough for you and if it serves food that suits your international tongue or tickles your adventurous taste bud longing for new and exotic food. Don’t forget to check if the place suits your budget. Remember, if the locals seem to enjoy eating in a restaurant or warung, there’s a huge chance that the place is cheap and serve tasty food.

Transportation
There are some modes of transportation that you can choose to stroll around in Bali. The cheapest form of transportation is bemo. However, bemo is a bit time consuming, as it is a bit slow and doesn’t have a fixed route. You can also take a tourist mini-bus that are a bit more expensive than bemo, but is much faster and more comfortable than bemo.

Souvenir shopping
In a cultural place like Bali that’s famous for its art, travelers surely want to do some souvenir shopping. However, if you’re on a budget, don’t buy your souvenir in tourist areas like Kuta. You can try doing some souvenir shopping in the central market in Denpasar or at Pasar Sukowati near Ubud. These places sell high quality souvenirs with much lower rates than the souvenir shops in popular tourist areas.

How To Find New Home Builders

Owning a home – whether it is a single family dwelling, a new two family unit, or a new condominium unit – is a dream most people and is sometimes a goal to which we all strive to reach at some point in the future. If one could manage the finances, there are people - the new homes builders - out there to lend you a professional hand in building your new home.

Hence, be careful when you selecting your new homes builders. New homes builders ideally should be one who offers the designs, quality and location that you want. New homes builders should be skilled, experienced and have a great track record of satisfied customers. In one word, new home builders should be professional in their approach as well as execution.

US Economic Trends for 2012

Okay so, what are the economic trends for 2012 here in the United States? Well of course it is an election year, and generally our economy does okay in an election year, however in this particular year the European crisis will also affect our GDP growth slowing us down to 1% or thereabouts. That certainly won't make the current administration look very well, even if the unemployment rates are slowly dropping, at least as per the official version. Okay so let's go and talk about some of these things shall we?

Job growth is slow, and it appears that that will continue, and even if we get a couple of good months, that could all turn around and go the other way after the election, even though historically November is when retail sales start picking up for Christmas, and there is temporary employment, along with the overnight shippers like UPS, FedEx, and now Amazon. Even though our government at the federal level can't seem to stop spending and is running $1 trillion deficit each year, it's doubtful that they will stop spending this year because of the election cycle, which may be good for boosting the economy, or keeping it from slipping back in a recession, but it probably isn't so good long-term.

One wildcard happens to be the issue with Iran and nuclear weapons, and the potential eventuality that the Straits of Hormuz will be blocked, or we will enter a war with Iran. If that happens it will send oil prices to record levels, which means that the gasoline and diesel prices will also increase, that could really hurt our economy, especially the comes during the driving periods of the summer.

It does appear that government tax revenue might be increasing, however at the corporate level our corporations are sitting on hundreds of billions of dollars, which they are not spending. They've already earned that money, and it will not be flowing around the economy, therefore it will not get taxed. Another drag on our economy besides the potential increase in fuel costs is that of education and healthcare. These costs are going through the roof and hurting consumers.

Although the 2011 Christmas season showed strong retail sales, it also showed that consumers were borrowing to make up the difference. The extra income that employees were making, did not go into consumer spending, as much as it went into the bank, indeed most economists believe that those trends will also continue, even if some of that sounds counterintuitive.

2012 does not look like it will be a big year for small business expansion, which unfortunately is definitely something we need right now if we are to get people back to work. These are just some of the trends going on in the US economy right now, but the year has only just begun. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.42

Jobs in Edinburgh

Scotland's capital, or 'the Athens of the North', is well known for its film-set and beautiful appearance, and for its richness in culture. This is perhaps best exemplified by it being home to the world's largest performing arts festival, Edinburgh Fringe, and the world's largest comedy festival, as well as it being known as officially the second most visited tourist destination in the UK after London.

It is no surprise then that tourism is a key driving force behind the city's economy. The festivals alone generate over £100 million, alongside the fact that the city is also a World Heritage Site. Edinburgh Castle and Edinburgh New Town are the two primary sites that led to this accolade, the former has parts that date back to the 12th Century, and attracted over a million visitors in 2007. Edinburgh New Town is an area of the city centre that was built between 1765 and 1850.

School Ski Trips to Folgaria, Italy

Folgaria, in Italy, is a beautiful ski resort town located in the Northern Italian province of Trentino. It is about 15 kilometres south of the main city of Trento, nestled in the heart of the Trentino Dolomites. Though it is often visited in the summer, the area is best known for its 'Skitour dei Forti', which is connected to three of the Altipiani plateaus: Folgaria, Lavarone, and Luserna.

The Folgaria ski network has over 100 kilometres of downhill pistes that are linked to form the Carosello Ski Folgaria. With 37 ski lifts serving the area, school ski trips here will be packed full of non-stop skiing and boarding for all ages and abilities. While in the area of Folgaria, as well as skiing, snowboarding and sledging, students can visit the snow parks and take some time out to go ice-skating too.

Sledging in Folgaria

Skiing, Snowboarding, and Sledging in Folgaria

As one of the most important skiing circuits in the Trentino Dolomites, or Prealps, Folgaria offers something for everyone - including those looking to brush up on their snow-skills or start from scratch at a school. Ski trips here allow access to light blue, red, and black slopes, which are well marked and easy to navigate. The new ski lifts make moving from one area to another simple, as students progress in their ability and want to try higher and harder slopes. If young skiers have had enough of two skis and want to try their legs on a snowboard instead, this is the perfect place. The easy (light blue) slopes are great for learning the basic manoeuvres in a safe and comfortable environment - with a bonus of beautiful views.

Once youngsters have had enough of trying to stay upright on their school ski trip, they can rent a sledge and have a slide down one of the several dedicated runs in Folgaria. While these runs are really intended for children, it is no surprise to see adults here too, sliding down the tracks and having a great time!

Snow Parks

The Folgaria resort area is lucky enough to be served by two snowparks: the Jurassik Snowpark and the Mazinga Park. If your students are ready to take the next step, they can ski down the slopes in these snowparks and see how it feels to fly while navigating the various jumps and obstacles. The Jurassik Snowpark has a slope of 800 metres long, with both easy and hard levels that can introduce skiers to the world of 'freestyling'. The brave (and experienced) have the option to test themselves on 18-metre jumps, boxes, rails, walls, and other props. Mazinga Park is 68 metres long and has five boxes for jumping, including a four metre 'kids box'. This is the ideal place for beginners on school ski trips to give freestyling a try.

Ice Skating

Once the kids have had their day on the piste - the fun's not over yet! Why not take them for a spin around the ice rink in the Palafolgaria? Located at 21 United Nations, the Palafolgaria not only has the all-important ice rink, it also has a pool, a gym and sporting halls. It is the perfect place for students to wind down and relax after a thrilling day on the ski slopes.

Best Places to See Wildlife in Nature

While a zoo definitely has it's place in animal watching, it doesn't compare to seeing animals in their own natural habitat. After a recent visit to Yellowstone National Park, this felt especially true for me. A traffic jam caused by young buffalo calves and their mothers crossing the road is an experience not to be missed. It made me wonder about other places that would be conducive to viewing wildlife in a natural setting. From my research I have come up with a list of some of the best places to visit if viewing animals in nature is your objective.

In the United States, national parks are the best place to start. For viewing sea animals, the best places include the Channel Islands off the coast of California. The islands are surrounded by sea lions, seals, gray whales and humpback whales. There are also numerous tide pools that house creatures such as sea urchins and anemones. Another area great for water animals is Glacier Bay in Alaska. Humpback whales and sea lions are in abundance off shore and on land bears and moose are often times available for viewing. For a different spin on water creatures, visit the Florida Everglades, the last remaining everglades on the planet. There you will see crocodiles and alligators co-exists along with turtles, dear, manatees and bobcats. The everglades contain large viewing towers that are devoted especially to wildlife watching or you can be a bit more daring and take a canoe ride in croc-infested waters.

Other national parks that make the list for best wildlife viewing are Denali National Park in Alaska, Glacier National park in Montana, Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. Denali, Glacier and Rocky Mountain offer animals such as dall sheep, grizzlies, caribou, wolves, mountain goats, elk, dear, bighorn sheep and marmots. Theodore Roosevelt is a less well known park and therefore offers great viewing of bison, wild horses, deer and elk without all the crowds.

Outside of the US, there are more exotic animals available for viewing at places such as Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica, the Komodo Islands in Indonesia, Tanjung Puting National Park in Borneo, Polar Bear Observation in Canada, and of course a Kenyan Safari.

The Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica is a brilliant rain forest that contains over 100,000 acres of land and 5,000 acres of marine habitat. The park is home to 116 species of amphibians and reptiles, 139 species of mammals and more than 400 species of birds. There are no roads into the park, only hiking trails. Unless you are an avid hiker and have excellent map-reading skills, a guide is recommended. In addition to the trails, there are also viewing platforms built atop massive ajo trees.

The Komodo Islands in Indonesia house the world's largest population of Komodo dragons. These animals can grow to be over 300 pounds and up to nine feet in length. These islands are now an Indonesian national park and permits and tour guides are required, but they make the experience much more user-friendly (Komodo dragons aren't in petting zoos for a reason). In addition to land tours, you can also take a sea kayak around the park and see coral reefs, fish, dolphins, whales and sea turtles.

Orang Utan
Tanjung Puting National Park in Borneo is one of the last places to see orangutans in their own natural habitat. Through an elaborate network of hiking trails, you can see the orangutans up close, swinging from branch to branch, suckling their young, or building nests to sleep. There are also orangutans in captivity which can be viewed. They are being rehabilitated before being returned to the wild. There are other jungle species as well that can be viewed in the orangutan jungle, including clouded leopards, civets, Malaysian sun bears, deer, numerous species of birds, and butterflies.

Nowhere can you see polar bears so up-close and personal as you can in Churchill, Manitoba. When Hudson Bay freezes, between October and November, this town is overrun with polar bears as they travel their migration path. In early winter, they even stop to dine on the region's seal population. For more up close views, you can take a tundra buggy (a converted school bus) into the migratory packs for a quick day-trip. For longer exposure, there are tundra lodges that provide all day exposure to the bears in their native environment.

One of the most famous places to view wildlife is Kenya, and what better way to see it than on a safari. Safari's can take you through the likes of Masai Mara National Park, Amboseli Game Reserve and Mt. Kilimanjaro to view lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, flamingos, black rhinos, giraffes and elephants. Safari's range from less expensive options starting around $500.00 for an 8 day excursion to very luxurious safaris costing up to $9,000. Either way, you get to see what you like most...animals.

How to Pick Up Girls in Clubs

Girls at Club

There exists a three-step method guaranteed to pick up girls in clubs successfully with virtually zero chances of failing. Read on to find out what the three steps are.

How To Pick Up Girls In Clubs - In Three Steps

The most effective way to pick girls up in bars is to first create enough attraction in the girl so that she first gives you the indication that she wants to be approached (known as Indicators of Interest, or abbreviated as IOI).

When you have already created this interest, then the next time is to further amplify the interest using an array of pickup techniques (such as fractionation). This is known as "escalation" where she would then want to get your attention. If this is further amplified, she will then feel compelled to chase you, and so become compliant to your requests (to get her phone number or a kiss).

Here is how you do the above, described in an easy, step-by-step system.

Step 1. Identify her type. The biggest reason behind the failure of attempts of pickup in bars is that men often try to approach women using the same cookie-cutter methods on all women. For example, they use stale and cliched pickup lines that will get them blown out of the water each time without fail. Therefore, before you make your approach, identify her mood and personality, and then make your move accordingly.

Step 2. Generate her interest. When you already get her indicators of interest (IOI) and have moved in to talk to her, then you have to 'turn the tables' and get her to want to talk to you instead. Play 'role reversal' and make her work for your attention. The golden key here is to remain as a 'puzzle' - she will then couldn't resist but want to 'figure you out'.

Step 3. Escalate. A deadly effective way to 'take things to the next level' is to use a technique called 'fractionation'. Using this largely unknown tactic, men are known to be able to pick women up (even in a crowded, noisy place like the club) by bringing her through an emotional rollercoaster.

Fractionation is considered as a 'dark art' tactic which is the basis of hypnosis-based seduction, and while controversial, it is known to be one of the most effective tactics ever invented by underground seductionists.

These psychology tactics are highly unconventional techniques that are used by the secret elite in the seduction community. Use at your own risk. I personally vouch for the effectiveness of these tactics, but care must be taken as they could be outright dangerous in the hands of the unscrupulous.
